A Concrete Flotation System from Golden Manufacturing is the go-to choice for long-lasting dock projects. It’s the patented, reconfigurable hybrid solution that adapts to a wide range of marina applications. Limited only to the imagination, it can be configured and reconfigured as needed.
The Golden Concrete Flotation System is a modular concept comprised of concrete decking, UV-resistant polyethylene floats and aluminum extruded whalers. The low maintenance system has a life expectancy of over 25 years.
Golden’s floating pontoon decking is pre-cast reinforced concrete and pre-stressed to 5,000 psi, per ASTM standard C-94. The polyethylene pontoon is filled with expanded polystyrene (EPS) that’s steamed to form a solid, dense block. Extruded 6061-T6 aluminum whalers offer massive strength, while 300-series stainless steel provides low maintenance and long-term reliability.
The roto-molded floats have an integrated tray top with galvanized wire reinforcement to receive a poured walking surface. The Golden Concrete Flotation System decking can be customized to any color, pattern, texture and logo. Alternatively, broom-finished concrete may be used.
Golden’s unique E-track aluminum whaler provides easy installation and adjustability of accessories such as cleats, pile guides and finger piers. Service troughs are integrated into the Concrete Flotation System to run water, power conduit, fuel and other utilities. The channels also provide for quick installation, reducing overall project costs.
Golden offers a wide range of marina services including technical assistance and complete assembly and installation. The company also offers a wide range of boat lifts that accommodate vessels over 100,000kg.
